Injury
Assessment
Our Injury Assessment allows our specialist team to get to the heart of what’s causing your pain, discomfort, or reduced mobility or performance – whether it’s from a recent injury, a long-term condition, or something that’s gradually worsened over time.
At our sports therapy and physiotherapy clinic in Blackpool, we take a hands-on, person-centred approach to understand your needs and build a clear picture of your physical health before starting any treatment or rehabilitation.
Why should you book an
injury assessment?
If you’re struggling with pain, stiffness, reduced performance, or just feel something “isn’t quite right”, an injury assessment is a vital first step.
By identifying the root cause of the issue early on, we can help prevent it from becoming a longer-term problem. Whether you’re an athlete, someone recovering from surgery, or simply want to move and feel better day-to-day, this assessment allows our specialist team to create an effective and tailored recovery plan.
What happens at aN
injury assessment?
We begin with an in-depth conversation to understand your symptoms, medical history, activity levels, and goals, followed by a thorough hands-on physical assessment to test movement, strength, joint function, and any areas of concern.
Once we’ve gathered all the information we need, we’ll explain our findings in plain language and outline your personalised treatment and rehabilitation plan. You’ll also be given practical home advice and exercises to support your recovery between sessions.
